Violizzy

Violizzy aka Liz Taub is a fiddler/singer/songwriter with numerous bands (including The Barrytones, The Val Kinzler Band, & Bob Tellefsen) Violizzy has earned her reputation as an eclectic artist, able to play any music genre, from country to classical. Her base is NYC but she performs all over the world, from Jerusalem to Vancouver, Canada. She was a member of the UNSCR Symphony Orchestra and currently is in the Queer Urban Orchestra, showcasing her refined training as a violinist. As a singer/songwriter Violizzy has expanded her musical community, bringing together friends and other musicians to perform original Violizzy songs. She loves to collaborate with others. Her new projects include:
Member of People's Music Network, a non-profit organization focused on supporting musicians and artists who write Social Justice songs that send a message to the world that we must act NOW to preserve our planet and protect the environment, as well as people we love (see Gallery Page below)
Member of the NYC Labor Chorus, who perform around NYC for special events, including rallies, parades & choral extravaganzas.

Violizzy believes that music can heal. She utilizes music in her work as a social worker/psychotherapist/healer and Reiki Master, using Reiki, and creative arts to help clients, family, and friends. She is the President Emeritus of the Board of Directors of Performance Wellness, Inc., a non-profit organization that trains and works with people who want to learn The Dr. Louise Montello Method of Performance Wellness.

CRAZY ROSES and PLAYING ON THE PORCH are 2 CDs Violizzy produced with Bluestone 739, which include some of her original songs. She recorded her original music CD Violizzy & Friends at Rob Taube's studio Groove Garden Community Music Studio in New York City in 2021.
